| 2009 Junior Fair Parade | |

Date: Sunday, July 19 2009, 2PM-3PM Info: The Lucas County Fair will kick off this year's fair with a parade starting at Maumee High School and ending at the fairgrounds. Afterwards, the coronation of the 2009 Junior Fair King & Queen will be announced, and trophies for the parade will be handed out. This event is free to the public - free food will be provided to all attendees. If you are interested in having your group or organization take part in the parade, please view the entry form here. |
| Chainsaw Woodcarving | |

Date: Tuesday, July 28 - Sunday, August 2 2009 Info: Dennis Beach will be at the Fairgrounds all week demonstrating the art of chainsaw carving. An auction of the wood carvings created will be held on Sunday, August 2. |

Date: Wednesday, July 29 2009 Info: July 29th is children's day at the Lucas County Fair! Admission to the fair is free for everyone between 11AM and 2PM. Admission to this event is free, and there will be children's activities located in Rec. Hall 1 from 1 to 4PM. |

| My Fair Lady Pageant | |

Date: Wednesday, July 29 2009, 4PM Info: The 26th Annual My Fair Lady Pageant will take place on Wednesday. Area nursing homes and assisted living facilities nominate women 75 years and older, based on achievements and accomplishments through out their lives. In honor of this event, free admission will be provided for all seniors (65+) between 11AM and 2PM. |

Date: Wednesday, July 29 2009, 1PM, 3PM, 5PM Info: Jenkins Border Collies will be demonstrating their dogs working sheep and ducks at 1, 3, and 5PM. |
| Veteran's Day Bean Soup Lunch | |

Date: Thursday, July 30 2009, 12-4PM Info: Thursday is Veteran's Day at the Lucas County Fair! A free ham and bean soup lunch will be provided, along with free health screenings: a blood pressure test provided by the Wal-Mart Pharmacy, and cholesterol and blood sugar tests provided by the St. Luke's Diabetes Center. There will also be information tables (including honor flight info), free raffle prizes, free entertainment (Eddie Boggs), and free admission to the fair for all of those with a military ID! |

Date: Thursday, July 30 2009, Doors at 6PM Info: Eddie Money will be headlining this year's concert at the Ned Skeldon stadium! Opening act is Midnight special. Doors are at 6pm; Midnight Special will go on at 7PM, and Eddie Money will play at 9PM. See tickets page for more details. |
